Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited is seeking experienced SMP Supervisors (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) to join our Construction Team in Western Australia across various projects. You will report to the Construction Manager and supervise site personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (Construction related) and appropriate licences.
• White Card.
• 5+ years experience in Construction and Mining with a supervisory level.
• S26 supervisor certificates including law exam.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Current clean National Police Clearance.
• Ability to pass a Medical and DAS.
• Experience with Dry & Wet Plant.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe work practices and ensure HSE standards are met.
• Keep project on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise and evaluate workmanship and quality.
• Oversee construction per GRES standards.
• Lead by example in Safe Work Practices.
• Conduct pre-start meetings daily.
• Conduct safety toolbox meetings.
• Participate in hazard identification and risk controls.
• Lead incident management: notification, investigation and reporting.
• Train, coach and assess personnel.
• Ensure site personnel comply with site quality and environmental requirements.
• Monitor activities to minimize pollution and protect the environment.
• Ensure management structures and resources are used to meet safety, health and risk requirements.
