Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical or Piping engineering.
• Proficient MS Office skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client representatives and internal stakeholders regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries.
• Inspect works during construction to ensure quality control and construction as per drawings and specifications, working closely with Supervisors to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor procurement of materials and consumables for portion of project scope, to ensure works can proceed as per schedule.
• Review, create, issue and follow up RFIs and technical queries.
• Resolve technical issues in an expedient and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure hold points requirements are concluded before works proceed.
• Oversee subcontractors’ performance.
• Prepare construction work packs and material requisitions.
• Maintain project files and registers.
• Attend operations meetings, prepare and issue weekly and monthly reports including work schedules.
• Understand and implement quality control techniques.
