Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited, a growing engineering consulting and contracting organisation, seeks experienced SMP Supervisors (Structural, Mechanical and Piping) to join our Construction Team in WA across multiple projects. You will report to the Construction Manager, oversee site personnel, monitor safety, and ensure work aligns with project schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will hold a construction-related trade certificate, white card, and supervisor certifications (S26),

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (Construction related) and appropriate Licences are essential.
• White Card is essential.
• Minimum 5 years supervision experience in Construction and Mining.
• S26 Supervisors certificates including law exam are essential.
• Current First Aid certificate is required.
• Current National Police Clearance is required.
• Ability to pass a Medical and DAS.
• Experience with Dry & Wet Plant.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights are essential.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe work practices and ensure HSE standards are met.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise and evaluate workmanship and quality.
• Oversee construction to GRES standards.
• Lead by example in Safe Work Practices and behaviour.
• Conduct pre-start meetings daily and safety toolbox talks.
• Participate in hazard identification and risk controls.
• Lead incident management incl. notification, investigation and reporting.
• Coach and assess personnel and ensure compliance with site requirements.

Education

Trade certificate (Construction related) and appropriate Licences

White Card

Relevant experience in Construction and Mining with a minimum of 5 years experience at a supervisory level

Relevant Supervisors certificates for S26 including law exam

Current First Aid certificate

Current clean National Police Clearance

Ability to pass a Medical and DAS

Experience with Dry & Wet Plant

Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
