Job summary

The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne’s Parkville area is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Services to support and grow our volunteer program. You will recruit, onboard and support volunteers, working with staff, volunteers and community partners to enhance patient and carer experiences.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, build inclusive volunteer opportunities and contribute to program improvements, while maintaining records and supporting reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with, supporting and engaging volunteers.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience facilitating training or information sessions.
• Ability to build relationships with volunteers, patients and staff.
