The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne’s Parkville area is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Services to support and grow our volunteer program. You will recruit, onboard and support volunteers, working with staff, volunteers and community partners to enhance patient and carer experiences.
You will coordinate day-to-day activities, build inclusive volunteer opportunities and contribute to program improvements, while maintaining records and supporting reporting and compliance.

The team works closely with volunteers, staff and community partners to create meaningful opportunities for people to contribute to the care environment while supporting the organisation's commitment to person-centred care, inclusion and community engagement.
The Coordinator, Volunteer Services plays a key role in supporting and developing Peter Mac’s volunteer program. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, recruit, onboard and support volunteers, and contribute to the development of new volunteering opportunities and program improvements. Working with staff, volunteers and community partners, you will help build an inclusive and diverse volunteer program that enhances the experience of patients, families and carers.
You are a highly organised and people-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting others and creating positive experiences. You bring a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities while working in a dynamic environment.
