Job summary

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is seeking a Visual Communications Designer to transform complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals. You will own the College’s visual identity, create and maintain templates, and support members, trainees and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

This hands-on role spans publications, annual reports, advocacy documents, event collateral, email marketing and social media.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' professional experience in graphic design or visual communications.
• Qualifications in graphic design, visual communication, digital media or related discipline.
• Strong portfolio showing print and digital design work.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent typography, layout and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design publications including internal and external communications.
• Create graphics and templates for email marketing, social media and digital channels.
• Develop and maintain professional document templates and branded collateral.
• Maintain master design files for training materials and handbooks.
• Prepare production-ready artwork for print and digital channels.
• Support application of the visual identity across communications and marketing.
• Manage image libraries and master artwork files.
• Coordinate photography and support video and multimedia content.
• Contribute to event branding and collateral.
• Manage design projects from brief through to final delivery.
• Provide design and brand advice to stakeholders across the College.
