We are seeking a Visual Communications Coordinator to support the production of high-quality visual communications across print and digital channels.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications & Digital Engagement, the Visual Communications Coordinator will work across a diverse range of projects, helping communicate the IPA's research, ideas, events and member activities through engaging and professional design.
Working within established brand guidelines, you will produce reports, research publications, presentations, social media graphics, event collateral, EDMs, website assets and other communications materials.
Experience or interest in the challenges and opportunities of the visual display of quantitative and technical information, per the work of Edward R Tufte, will be highly regarded.
This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with 1-2 years experience and enjoys turning complex information into clear visual communications while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Design and produce reports, research publications, policy papers and briefing documents
Create presentations, brochures, invitations, advertisements and event materials
Develop graphics and visual content for social media, websites and email communications
Adapt and repurpose content across print and digital channels
Maintain consistency across all visual communications and brand assets
Support the production of member communications and engagement materials
Work closely with communications, research, membership and events teams
Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy
Qualifications in graphic design, visual communication or a related discipline
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or similar design tools
Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in document production and formatting
Strong organisational and time-management skills
The ability to work effectively within established templates and brand guidelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative approach and willingness to work across a variety of projects
Some experience producing professional communications materials will be highly regarded
Experience designing reports, publications, presentations, stakeholder communications or other content-rich materials will be viewed favourably
