We're looking for a communications assistant to join our team at IPAA ACT.
The communications assistant supports IPAA ACT's communications and engagement activities. Under the guidance of the head of strategic communications and the communications and engagement manager, this role ensures that our communications channels run engaging content tailored to our audience.
A typical day for you might include uploading or updating information on our website and then writing content for our weekly newsletter, including copy and graphics. Then, you might prepare social media posts for the week, using your creativity to create different formats and angles that resonate with our public sector audience. Later, you might be asked to compile routine campaign and channel performance reporting, identifying initial trends and insights to support evaluation and future planning in line with our strategic goals.

You are highly organised, reliable and a strong communicator looking to start your career in communications. You are energetic and committed to delivering a high standard of work with a desire to learn and continuously improve. You may be in your final years of studying communications or a related discipline, a recent graduate or just starting your communications career with some prior experience in a related field.
