AESM is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead operations in Knoxfield, Victoria. You will drive strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence across service, maintenance, projects, administration and technical operations.

In this senior role you will shape growth strategies, lead diverse teams, and ensure exceptional client outcomes while delivering sustainable business growth. Strong commercial acumen and people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience with end-to-end accountability for business performance.
• Proven P&L ownership and accountability.
• Experience delivering commercial and operational outcomes in facilities management, technical services, fire protection, engineering, or asset-intensive environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial management and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth, profitability, and efficiency.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building high-performing cultures.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and customer relationships.
• Strong governance, safety and risk management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and performance of AESM in Victoria.
• Drive safety culture with focus on compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver budgeted revenue, profitability, EBITDA, and operational targets.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and retention.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and partners.
• Identify and secure new maintenance, project, and service opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to high engagement and performance.
• Develop leadership through coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
• Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and service excellence.
