The Position

John XXIII College is seeking an exceptional Vice Principal to serve the community by providing whole-of-College leadership across Pre‑K to Year 12. The Vice Principal will be a member of the College Executive Team, work in close partnership with the Principal to advance the College’s Catholic mission, strategic priorities and educational vision, and deputise for the Principal in his absence.

The Vice Principal holds ultimate operational oversight of the College, leading the effective day‑to‑day functioning of John XXIII College and ensuring a safe, well‑managed and high‑performing environment for staff and students. The role exercises delegated authority on behalf of the Principal and ensures that key policies, practices and processes are implemented consistently and effectively.

Working closely with the Head of Primary, Head of Middle Years, Head of Senior Years, Deputy Principal Faith and Mission and Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning, the Vice Principal will drive alignment across learning, wellbeing and operations from Pre‑K to Year 12. This role will strengthen the collective leadership capability, supports continuity across stages of schooling, and ensures the College responds effectively to both strategic priorities and operational demands.
