Job summary

Rising Sun Pictures is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our busy team, based at either Brisbane or Adelaide studios. You will coordinate day-to-day work against the production schedule and communicate with artists to keep schedules aligned.

You will maintain Shotgrid data, distribute notes from dailies and client reviews, and help ensure the timely delivery of assets in a fast-paced VFX environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of the VFX pipeline and how a shot moves from start to finish.
• Sound knowledge of Shotgrid, Filemaker or similar database and scheduling tools.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to juggle conflicting deadlines and adapt to changing briefs.
• Sharp attention to detail and a good eye for composition.
• Comfortable in Mac and PC environments, with basic Linux command line skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track day-to-day team work against the production schedule, flagging variations early with proposed solutions
• Communicate with artists daily for alignment of schedule
• Keep Production Managers informed of anything that may affect schedule
• Maintain Shotgrid (tasks, assignments, status) and other production systems accurately and on time
• Take and distribute clear notes in dailies and client reviews
• Coordinate client deliverables sends with Production Managers, and work with Editorial to ensure successful delivery
