Bungendore Veterinary Surgery is seeking a warm, organised Receptionist to be the welcoming face and friendly voice of our clinic. You’ll greet wagging tails, reassure anxious owners, and keep our front desk running smoothly. It is an exciting time to join the team: renovations and upgraded uniforms are on the way.

This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, connects easily with people, and balances administrative duties with a calm smile. Work rights in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Communication: natural people person with outstanding customer service.
• Organisation: calm under pressure, proactive, multi-tasking.
• Tech: confident with practice software, email and office programs.
• Availability: 4 days full-time or 2–3 days part-time plus one Saturday morning.
• Background: veterinary or medical reception helpful; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage front-desk enquiries with warmth.
• Schedule consults and procedures for animals and livestock.
• Process payments and balance end-of-day reports.
• Maintain clinical records, including reminders and registrations.
• Use practice software for forms, orders and communications.
• Restock stock and keep reception and consult rooms tidy.
• Coordinate pathology results and referrals.
