Job summary

Epsom Road Vet in Melbourne's inner west is seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist or qualified vet nurse who loves pets and people. You will be the warm first contact, setting the tone for every client visit and supporting a busy clinic with organisation and care.

The role is full time, with flexibility to 30–38 hours per week, and includes work five days a week with every second Saturday until 1.30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience as veterinary receptionist or qualified vet nurse with strong customer service.
• Clear and confident communication, even during busy times.
• Ability to discuss treatment plans and payments, with knowledge of preventative care.
• Enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and managing front desk operations with professionalism and care.
• Scheduling appointments and handling client and supplier inquiries in person, by phone, or digitally.
• Admin duties including front of house inventory management, marketing support, and office tasks.
• Work alongside an experienced clinical team to deliver optimal patient care and client experience.
