Job summary

Swan Valley Vet Centre in Swan Valley is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team. This full-time role may be flexible to part-time for the right candidate, serving as the first point of contact for clients in person and over the phone.

You will contribute to a high-quality client experience, manage a busy appointment schedule, and support reception administration in a fast-paced, caring veterinary environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in the animal industry desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and empathetic people skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage reception duties.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our wonderful team on a full-time basis (can be flexible with part-time hours for the right candidate!). Our receptionist is the first point of contact for all our valued clients, so providing a high-quality client experience in person and over the phone is of the utmost importance to us. This is a fantastic opportunity that will allow you to gain experience in a fast-paced yet rewarding atmosphere with a remarkable team.

• At least 1 years’ experience working in customer facing position
• Experience in the animal industry is desirable, yet not essential
• Certificate IV in veterinary nursing is ideal, but not essential
• Someone that has exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients
• An empathetic, caring person that always advocates for their patients
• An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice
• The ability to manage a busy appointment schedule & assist with reception administration tasks.
