Job summary

Greencross Wetherill Park is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our busy clinic on a full-time basis. You’ll work alongside an experienced team, providing high-quality care across a diverse surgical and medical caseload.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience with surgery assistance and anaesthesia.
• Strong animal handling and clinical nursing skills.
• Excellent organisation and client service.
• RX Works experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operative patient care
• Surgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery
• Animal pathology and diagnostic testing
• Hospital nursing and inpatient care
• Emergency and critical care nursing support
• Performing minor procedures within your scope of practice
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinic
• Supporting reception and client services when required
• Delivering exceptional care and customer service to clients and patients
