Greencross Pet Wellness Company is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse for our Wetherill Park clinic. This full-time position offers a varied caseload, hands-on nursing, and a collaborative team environment in a busy hospital setting.

You'll support veterinarians across surgical and medical cases, with ongoing development opportunities and employee benefits. A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and 2+ years' experience are preferred, with RX Works knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience with RX Works is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic with strong team collaboration.

• Pre- and post-operative patient care
• Surgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an integral role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all aspects of the clinic.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pre- and post-operative patient care
• Surgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery
• Animal pathology and diagnostic testing
• Hospital nursing and inpatient care

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary nursing, enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, and values being part of a close‑knit team.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse
• Confidence assisting with surgery, anaesthesia, and patient recovery
• Strong animal handling and clinical nursing skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• The ability to remain calm, efficient, and adaptable in a busy clinic environment
• Outstanding communication and client service skills
• High attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• A positive attitude and willingness to support teammates wherever needed
• Experience with RX Works is advantageous but not essential
