Greencross Vets in Wetherill Park is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join a busy clinic. You will support veterinarians with hands-on nursing, surgical assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, at least 2 years' experience, strong animal handling and client service skills, and a calm, adaptable approach in a varied caseload.

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse.

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an integral role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all aspects of the clinic.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Pre- and post-operative patient care
• Surgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery
• Animal pathology and diagnostic testing
• Hospital nursing and inpatient care
• Emergency and critical care nursing support
• Performing minor procedures within your scope of practice
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinic
• Supporting reception and client services when required
• Delivering exceptional care and customer service to clients and patients

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary nursing, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and values being part of a close-knit team.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse
