Job summary

Greencross Vets Joondalup is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our full-time team. We offer a village-vet feel within a strong Greencross network, with a close-knit team of nurses, receptionists, and veterinarians dedicated to exceptional patient and client care.

You’ll support surgical and medical nursing across a diverse caseload and engage in client education, hospital nursing, and team-based care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• 3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience required.
• Strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
• Confidence across medical and surgical nursing required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior nurses highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking general nursing duties including pre- and post-operative care.
• Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery.
• Supporting pathology and diagnostic procedures.
• Medical and hospital nursing and nurse consulting.
