Job summary

Potts Point Veterinary Hospital in Elizabeth Bay, NSW, is seeking a dedicated veterinary nurse to join our nursing team. The role covers hospital and inpatient care, admissions and discharges, surgical and anaesthetic nursing, dental and radiography procedures, and nurse consultations with clients.

You will support veterinarians during consultations and procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A calm, caring and professional approach with patients and clients.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A genuine commitment to animal welfare and patient advocacy.

Potts Point Veterinary Hospital – Elizabeth Bay NSW

As an integral member of our nursing team at Potts Point Veterinary Hospital, you'll be involved in hospital and inpatient care, admissions and discharges, surgical and anaesthetic nursing, dental and radiography procedures and monitoring, nurse consultations and triage, client communication and education, assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures, and maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with no regular weekend or after-hours shifts.
