Job summary

Health Industry Training, a nationally accredited RTO in Australia, is seeking a Business Support Officer to lead day-to-day operations and support staff across training and administration. Qualifications

• Experience in the VET or RTO sector with understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with students, employers and regulators.
• Proven ability in student or client support with empathy and problem solving.
• Tertiary qualification in business management, education, or related field, or equivalent senior management experience.
• Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Health Industry Training.
• Manage staff across training and administration.
• Ensure quality delivery of accredited programs.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Develop and implement operational plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in student support, program coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to align organisational goals.
• Foster a positive, student-centered culture.
• Build relationships with employers and industry partners.
• Manage IT equipment, software and the student management system.
