SeaLink South East Queensland is seeking a Vessel Engineer to join the Cleveland/Redland Bay ferry operations. The role will maintain vessel machinery, perform servicing, assist with loading, and ensure the safety of passengers while complying with maritime regulations.
The successful candidate should hold MED 2 or higher, AMSA form 1850 medical fitness, and First Aid/CPR certificates, with experience in vessel machinery and digital maintenance programs.
The vessel Engineer is an integral part of our Ferry Operations from Cleveland and Redland Bay.
This position will be responsible for maintaining machinery and systems on the vessels including maintenance and servicing, also assisting with loading of vessels, safety of passengers and ensuring the safe operation of the Vessel.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and strong knowledge of regulations and legislation applicable to vessel operations.
