D Dad & Dave’s Brewing in Brookvale, Sydney NSW, is seeking an energetic Venue Marketing & Events Manager to elevate its brewery venue. You will own the venue’s marketing, events calendar and community engagement, driving visitation, bookings and revenue.

From live entertainment and community events to brand activations and product launches, you’ll create fresh concepts, manage social campaigns, partnerships with local businesses, and turn ideas into successful events that keep customers

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality marketing, events management, venue management or a similar role.
• Strong social media skills, with the ability to create engaging content and manage campaigns.
• A proven ability to organise, promote and deliver successful events.
• Confidence in approaching businesses, building partnerships and generating new opportunities.
• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• A creative mindset backed by a practical, results-driven approach.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership and follow through on ideas.
• Flexibility to attend and manage events outside standard business hours when required.
• Experience in breweries, bars, live entertainment or hospitality venues would be highly regarded.

We're looking for an energetic, creative and commercially driven Venue Marketing & Events Manager to take our brewery venue to the next level.

This isn't your typical marketing role. We're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, build relationships, create exciting events and, most importantly, get people through the doors.

From live entertainment and community events to trade days, brand collaborations and product launches, you'll have the freedom to develop new opportunities while growing our existing events and venue offerings.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of our venue's marketing, events calendar and community engagement, working to increase visitation, bookings and revenue.

Your responsibilities will include:

Events & Venue Activation

• Develop and manage an engaging calendar of regular and one-off events.

• Grow our existing events while introducing fresh concepts that attract new customers.

• Coordinate live music, trivia, themed nights, markets, trade days and special events.

• Drive private functions, corporate bookings and venue hire opportunities.

• Organise brand activations, product launches, industry events and collaborations.

• Identify opportunities to bring customers into the venue during quieter trading periods.

Social Media & Marketing

• Manage and grow our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

• Create engaging content, including reels, photography, videos and event promotions.

• Develop marketing campaigns that turn online engagement into real venue attendance.

• Promote our beers, new product releases, events and venue experiences.

• Work with local influencers, content creators and community pages to increase our reach.

Community Engagement & Business Development

• Build relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, community groups and organisations.

• Engage with the Northern Beaches community to understand what people want from their local brewery.

• Develop partnerships with local brands, food vendors, entertainers and event organisers.

• Proactively identify and pursue new event, sponsorship and collaboration opportunities.

• Establish recurring events that become a regular part of the local community calendar.

About You

We're looking for someone who is a natural people person, a self-starter and genuinely passionate about hospitality and events.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in hospitality marketing, events management, venue management or a similar role.

• Strong social media skills, with the ability to create engaging content and manage campaigns.

• A proven ability to organise, promote and deliver successful events.

• Confidence in approaching businesses, building partnerships and generating new opportunities.
