Job summary

Belgravia Leisure Swan Hill is seeking a suitably qualified manager to lead the venue team and deliver an exceptional customer experience on a full-time fixed-term basis.

You will develop and execute plans with the leadership team, engage key stakeholders and Council, and drive the venue’s operational, financial and program outcomes.

This role focuses on inspiring people, coaching staff, and delivering real community impact in a vibrant sports and community environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience leading diverse teams.
• Proven ability to plan and execute operational, financial and people plans.
• Experience in complex business operations, preferably in health, leisure, or hospitality.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and staff to influence outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.

About the Venue:

Belgravia Leisure operates 3 iconic facilities within the Swan Hill region. Swan Hill Outdoor Pool is a real keystone facility that offers a 50m, 25m, toddler pool, waterslide, and kiosk. Community is at the heart of its operation.

About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced manager to lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experience on a full time fixed term basis. Responsible for the management of this fantastic facility, the team at the Venue and our local community, you are fully accountable for the Venue’s operational, financial and program deliverables.

You will develop and execute plans through engagement with the Venue’s leadership team, key stakeholders and Council. You will continue to drive the Venue’s overall success.

About You:

You will be a people leader who leads with vision and energy. Being able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped team performance in your career. You can easily articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

About the Responsibilities:

• Highly developed leadership abilities.
• Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
• Demonstrative experience leading a complex business operation, preferably in the health, leisure, or hospitality industry.
• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Qualifications in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, Working with Children (or be willing to obtain)
