Job summary

Grand View Hotel in Bowen on Queensland's Whitsunday coast seeks a dynamic Venue Manager to lead a premium operations team across bars, bistro, gaming, functions and events. You will drive guest satisfaction, financial performance, and brand reputation while shaping a positive culture in a stunning coastal setting.

You will bring proven leadership in hospitality, strong budgeting skills, and a hands-on approach, with required RSA/RMLV certifications or the ability to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager, CLO, Gaming Nominee Training (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to build strong relationships within the local community and proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.
