Job summary

City Parklands is seeking a Venue & Event Liaison Officer to join our Events, Marketing & Destinations team on a permanent full-time basis. You will coordinate events across City Parklands-managed venues and public spaces, working with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

Reporting to the Venue & Event Sales Manager, you will support planning, on-site delivery and post-event follow-up while delivering exceptional customer service and coordinating event

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience coordinating events, venue hire or hospitality operations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service, with relationship management.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events from post-sale handover through planning, delivery and review.
• Act as primary contact for clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
• Review documentation and coordinate approvals for safe, compliant event delivery.
• Maintain event records, agreements and correspondence in the CMS.
• Coordinate inspections, resources and vendor activities to meet high standards.
• Prepare briefings and reports; identify opportunities to improve processes and utilisation.
