Job summary

Queensland Government in Brisbane seeks a Marketing Officer to coordinate the school's marketing, events and community engagement activities. You will work with the Business Manager, Principal and leadership team to deliver events that reflect school priorities and community expectations.

The role focuses on leading event planning, calendar management, budgeting, stakeholder liaison and continuous improvement of event delivery within a public school environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, project management and event coordination skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships with staff, students, families, sponsors and community organisations.
• Capability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage resources and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the planning, organisation and delivery of major school events such as Awards Nights, Graduation ceremonies and Open Days.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual events calendar with milestones and responsibilities.
• Coordinate event budgets, procurement, venue prep, catering, invitations and registrations.
• Consult with the Principal, Executive Leadership Team and external providers to ensure events meet priorities and quality standards.
• Identify operational risks and implement safety and contingency plans.
