Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. invites two placement year students to join the New Model Launch Team at Goodwood for a July 2027 start.

You will gain hands-on experience in vehicle production, parts, processes and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Externally studying a Mechanical/Automotive Engineering degree, you will help define root cause, map processes, and support digitalisation and KPI development while enjoying mentorship, a competitive salary and on-site

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering with 2:2 or above.
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Desirable familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira/Confluence and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in defining root causes, experiments and implementing improvements.
• Assist with business process improvements, digitalisation and KPI creation.
• Support daily stand-up meetings with the wider team and stakeholders.
• Gain hands-on production exposure and mentorship while exploring other technologies.
