Job summary

SMART is seeking a Car Washer for our Seven Hills site in NSW. You will wash and prepare vehicles at key stages of the repair process to keep the team moving and ensure the vehicles are presented for handover to customers.

Permanent, 45 hours per week with guaranteed overtime. This role offers above-award pay, a modern workshop, and access to national training programs through AMA Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a car wash or automotive environment is helpful but not essential.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to get the job done.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet all day.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Punctual, responsible, and a team player.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean vehicles on arrival and at various stages of the repair process.
• Ensure vehicles are presented cleanly for handover to the customer.
• Assist the detail team with final presentation where required.
• Move vehicles safely around the workshop and yard.
• Keep wash equipment and wash area clean and maintained.
• Complete basic documentation as required.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Car Washer at our Seven Hills site.

You'll keep vehicles clean and moving through the repair process — washing and preparing cars at key stages of the repair so the team around you can do their best work.

Permanent, Monday to Friday. 45 hours per week, guaranteed overtime.

What you'll be doing:

• Washing and cleaning vehicles on arrival and at various stages throughout the repair process
• Ensuring vehicles are presented cleanly for handover to the customer
• Assisting the detail team with final presentation where required
• Moving vehicles safely around the workshop and yard
• Keeping wash equipment and the wash area clean and maintained
• Completing basic documentation as required

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a car wash, dealership, or automotive environment (helpful but not essential)
• A reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to get the job done
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Punctual, responsible, and a team player
• Full working rights in Australia
