Job summary

O.S. Trees is seeking Vegetation Workers/Arborists across Bathurst and surrounding areas. Multiple roles available for casual, permanent, or subcontractor arrangements, depending on experience.

To be considered you must hold a NSW Drivers Licence and an OHS construction induction (White Card). Qualifications such as Cert 3 Arboriculture and heavy vehicle licences are preferred, along with experience operating plant like excavators, skid steers and tractors.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Drivers Licence and OHS White Card required.
• Cert 3 Arboriculture and heavy vehicle licences look upon favourably.
• Experience with plant operation – Excavator/Skid Steer/Tractor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vegetation management tasks across government, commercial and residential sites.
• Operate related machinery and equipment as required, and assist with project duties.

Vegetation Workers/Arborists – Multiple Positions Available

O.S. Trees (OST) is a well-known and respected vegetation management company based in Bathurst.

OST works within multiple client streams including Government, Commercial and Residential and hold a number of long-term contracts and preferred contractor status relationships with various clients. We operate a large and well-maintained fleet of vehicles and specialised vegetation management equipment.

We are currently experiencing a significant increase in business and are seeking to recruit employees on the basis of casual, permanent or as a subcontractor to take up multiple roles.

To be considered you must hold a current NSW Drivers Licence and an OHS construction induction (White Card).

Although not mandatory, the following qualifications would be looked upon favourably:

Cert 3 Arboriculture.

Heavy Vehicle licences.

Experience and tickets in plant operation – Excavator/Skid Steer/Tractor etc.

Other qualifications that are desired are first aid, chainsaw, AQF3 chemical application, RIW and any other relevant Arborist/Plant Quals.

A generous remuneration package based on experience and qualifications will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
