Shane's Trees in New South Wales, Illawarra region, is seeking an experienced grounds crew member to join our vegetation teams alongside rail contracts. You will remove vegetation, operate machinery, and support drain maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in grounds maintenance or labouring, a clean driver’s licence, RIW ticket, White Card, and the ability to travel across rail corridors.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years experience in grounds maintenance, gardening or labouring.
• Ability to travel across the rail corridors.
• Driver's licence (with a clean driving record).
• RIW ticket (essential).
• White Card.
• Excavator operation with a bucket (desirable).
• Customer Service and communication skills.

Shane's Trees is a forward thinking Arboriculture company. Operating in Sydney and the Illawarra for over 30 years with a safety culture that underpins our reputation for excellence.

With several active rail contracts across our network, we have vegetation crews operating in the southern, south west and western rail corridors and we are looking for an additional crew member to join our team.

Day to day works include:

• Work with crew to carry out vegetation removal and drain maintenance
• Use machinery, chainsaws, mowers, snippers etc to support works
• Feed chipper if required
• Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in grounds maintenance, gardening or labouring
• Ability to travel across the rail corridors
• Drivers licence (with a clean driving record)
• RIW ticket (essential)
• Commitment to a drug & alcohol-free workplace (you can be tested on-site at any time)
• White Card
• Excavator operation with a bucket (desirable)
• Customer Service and communication skills
