Shane's Trees in Sydney seeks a casual HR Truck Driver and Grounds Person to support our arboriculture crews. The role is based at the Kurnell yard with on-site operations and requires an HR licence, 150 hours driving, and the ability to reverse a chipper into tight spaces.

You will drive and tow equipment, assist arborists with pruning and grounds work, maintain site cleanliness, and act as a safety spotter for climbers.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years labouring or driving experience in a similar industry.
• White Card.
• Drivers Licence + HR licence (with full points).
• 150 hours on road driving experience and capable of reversing with a chipper into tight spots.

Responsabilidades

• Truck driver duties: meet on site at the KURNELL yard, pick up vehicle and tow chipper.
• Grounds person duties: assist Arborists with pruning and lopping, clear debris, operate chainsaw, load truck and feed chipper, keep site tidy, stump grinding (training provided).
• Spotter for climbers to ensure safety and work collaboratively with crew.

Day to day work includes Local government council works, Commercial contract property maintenance work on large commercial premises, Bushfire clean up work, Storm/Insurance work, Residential and Strata work.

About the roles

We are currently seeking a crew member to join as HR Truck Driver and Grounds person acting as a key support to the crew.

• Truck driver - Meet on site at the KURNELL yard to pick up truck and tow chipper and crew to site.
• Need to have valid HR licence with a good clean driving record.
• 150 hours on road driving experience and capable of reversing with a chipper into tight spots.
• Grounds person duties - Assist Arborists with pruning and lopping, clear debris from the ground, chainsaw operation, loading truck and feeding chipper, keep site tidy, stump grinding (will train), be a spotter for the climbers to ensure safety.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 3 years labouring or driving experience in a similar industry
• White Card
• Drivers Licence + HR licence (with full points)
