Complete Staff Solutions is recruiting a Vegetation Labourer for Singleton Council in New South Wales. The role focuses on road vegetation maintenance, spraying, and general grounds work, with an immediate start for at least 3 months.

You will operate a chainsaw and perform related labouring tasks across roadsides, parks and fields. Hours are 38 per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a 4-day option.

Competenze

• Must hold a chainsaw ticket.
• Must hold a White Card for construction site work.
• Experience as a labourer in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, horticulture or roadside vegetation management.

Vegetation Labourer with Chainsaw Ticket

This temporary contract with Singleton Council will suit a labourer with a chainsaw ticket.

As you will be using a chainsaw quite consistently in this role, a recognised ticket is essential.

Working in the Road Vegetation Team, you will assist with maintenance and chemical control of vegetation across the Singleton area. You will assist in keeping roadsides, parks and playing fields safe, accessible and well maintained.

You must be available for an immediate start, with the duration of the assignment being a minimum of 3 months.

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6.30 am to 3.30 pm

4 days per week is also an available option.

Duties

Undertake chemical spraying using a dedicated spray truck, including guideposts, guardrails, road edges, urban targeted spraying, parks, playing fields and noxious weeds.

Carry out vegetation maintenance tasks including snipping, mowing and tree work using appropriate plant and equipment.

Assist with problem solving and support emergency services as required.
