Job summary

John Valves Pty Ltd in Ballarat is seeking a fully qualified Fitter & Turner to join our team for a full-time role. You will manufacture valve products using lathes and milling machines and work with NC lathe, vertical and horizontal borers.

The successful candidate will shadow the lead Senior Fitter & Turner and contribute to production for Australian and international markets. Ideal applicants will have prior experience in a similar role, be physically fit, and demonstrate a strong work ethic

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Fitter & Turner required.
• Experience in a similar role/environment preferred.
• Experience with lathes and milling machines preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work to demands of the role.
• Strong work ethic and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture valve products using lathes and milling machines.
• Work with NC lathe, vertical, and horizontal borers.
• Shadow and learn from the lead Senior Fitter & Turner.
• Contribute to production for the Australian and international valve market.
