Job summary

Cleared Recruitment is seeking an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer to join a defence aerospace program in Brisbane. You will contribute to the systems engineering effort across the product lifecycle, focusing on V&V activities and test artefacts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in systems engineering, strong V&V knowledge in defence, and the ability to develop V&V plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing risk.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Verification and Validation.
• Strong understanding of V&V in Defence environment.
• Experience with EMI standards MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DEF(AUST) 5168 or similar.
• Ability to prepare and develop V&V plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job description

Do you have a proven track record in Verification and Validation? Are you seeking a new role that will allow you to demonstrate your subject matter expertise on a wide range of mission critical projects within the Defence Aerospace domain?

We are currently seeking applications from experienced V&V Engineers to join an industry leader located in Brisbane. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team that are strong contributors to the systems engineering effort for various projects throughout the product and systems lifecycle.

Applicants should have a strong understanding of V&V activities within a Defence environment.

• Experience with Voice Communications Systems is desirable
• Familiarity with EMI standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DEF(AUST) 5168 or similar.
• Ability to prepare and develop V&V plans
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
