Job summary

Job Q in Barton, ACT is seeking a V&V Engineer to lead verification and validation activities for complex Defence platforms and mission systems. You will develop VVPs, define verification strategies, and coordinate T&E testing across integration efforts.

Strong lifecycle V&V knowledge and DOORS/Jira/Confluence proficiency are highly valued. The role requires NV1 security clearance, a technical degree, and experience with Defence acquisition or sustainment programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in Defence V&V, integration or T&E programs.
• Experience with verification plans, test procedures and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute V&V activities for complex Defence systems.
• Develop and maintain Verification & Validation Plans (VVPs) and verification matrices.
• Support SRR, PDR, CDR and TRR reviews with evidence and documentation.
• Engage with Defence, engineering and project stakeholders; analyse test results.
