Job summary

Kinexus is seeking V&V Engineers/Test Engineers to join a Defence project in Melbourne. You will engage in full testing lifecycle, from developing test procedures and executing tests to analysing results and managing defects.

In this contract, you will also support client demonstrations, prepare systems for demonstration, present outcomes, and communicate with stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to explain technical information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in V&V testing within defence or complex systems.
• Ability to develop test plans and procedures and maintain traceability between requirements, test activities, defects and outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cases, and supporting documentation.
• Plan and execute system, integration, and verification testing across multiple interconnected systems.
• Review requirements to ensure they are testable and maintain traceability between requirements, test activities, defects, and outcomes.
• Prepare for and support client demonstrations, clearly presenting system capabilities, testing activities, and outcomes to customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct testing activities, record results, and provide evidence to support verification and acceptance.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and manage defects through to resolution, working closely with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams and key stakeholders to support project milestones and delivery objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and quality practices.
