Amentum is seeking a Verification and Validation Officer in Canberra to lead V&V activities for the LND8710 program, delivering assurance that the land system meets requirements and is safe for deployment.
The role focuses on verification planning, testing across levels, and maintaining traceability to requirements, with close collaboration across engineering teams and Defence stakeholders. Location is Canberra with a 40-hour week.

Role Title: Verification and Validation Officer
The LND8710 program is a complex Defence capability acquisition focused on delivering an integrated land system that meets operational requirements for the Australian Defence Force. The program encompasses system design, integration, testing, and transition into service, with a strong emphasis on assurance, interoperability, and operational effectiveness.
This role supports the acquisition by ensuring that the delivered system is verified against its requirements and validated against its intended operational use, providing confidence to stakeholders that the capability is fit for purpose, safe, and ready for deployment.
