Job summary

ISS is hiring DIDO Utility/Cleaners from the Mackay region for a 2/1 roster. You will perform housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations, delivering a clean, safe environment for village residents.

Applicants with remote/site hospitality experience preferred; must have unrestricted work rights in Australia, a current police check, Queensland Coal Board Medical, and Safe Food Handling. RSA desired; transport to site required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or remote site experience preferred.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Police check issued within the last 12 months or willing to obtain one.
• Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
• Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
• Driver's license/photo ID required.
• RSA certificate desired.
• Demonstrate proactive, solution-focused approach with strong customer service.

We're hiring DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) Utility/Cleaners from Mackay region and nearby suburbs on a 2/1 roster!

• Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents.Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.

To be considered:

• Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance
• Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from site
• RSA Certificate (desired).
