Job summary

ISS is hiring a Head Chef on a FIFO roster from Brisbane for a Fulltime role on an 8:6 schedule. You will lead a commercial kitchen and deliver breakfast, crib, and dinner while upholding ISS standards of safety, quality, and dining experiences in a remote mining village.

This role includes meals, accommodation, uniforms, and ongoing training, with a strong emphasis on food safety, HACCP, and client satisfaction within a large global company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Head Chef in a commercial kitchen (essential).
• Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
• Proven experience in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
• Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
• Strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and HACCP standards.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Valid police check issued within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one
• Must pass Pre-employment Medical, Functional Assessment and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Driver's License / Photo ID required
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication and customer service

To be considered:
