Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Wellington NSW is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead a high-performing used-vehicle operation. You will own the process from acquisition and trade-ins through to pricing, reconditioning and sale, with a focus on profitability and stock management.

In this role you will set pricing strategies, coach the sales team, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and report on performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing or leading a used vehicle operation within a dealership environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, purchasing and pricing strategies.
• Confidence negotiating trade-ins and stock purchases.
• An understanding of reconditioning processes and retail readiness standards.
• Proven commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Managing the acquisition, purchasing and trade-in process.
• Setting and maintaining competitive vehicle pricing strategies.
• Overseeing vehicle reconditioning to ensure stock is retail-ready.
• Monitoring stock turn, margins and departmental performance.
