Job summary

Colac Area Health is seeking a Ward Clerk for the Urgent Care area. This permanent part-time role up to 24 hours per fortnight supports reception, administrative duties and patient flow in a busy urgent care ward.

Ideal candidates will have administration experience, a commitment to customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Training and professional development opportunities are provided within a values-based workplace.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant administration or management field (preferred).
• A strong focus and passion for customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms; ability to learn additional software programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and reception duties in Urgent Care to assist in effective and efficient management of the department.
• Maintain records, coordinate communications and support clinical and nursing staff as required.
• Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry and general clerical tasks to ensure smooth ward operations.
