Job summary

ForHealth Group in Australia seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. You will provide high-quality nursing support, triage patients, and deliver front-line care in collaboration with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner.

This role offers opportunities for wound care, plastering assistance, and a path to advance within a growing urgent care network. Evening and weekend availability is required; RNs must hold AHPRA registration and comply with child safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years in emergency/triage/ICU or rural/remote nursing.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Conduct thorough nursing triage.
• Act decisively in critical moments and escalate as needed.
• Perform hands-on procedural care (e.g., suturing, plastering).
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and educate patients.
