Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in Australia. You will triage patients, provide front-line nursing care and collaborate with a Medical Practitioner to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates will hold current AHPRA registration, be available evenings and weekends, and bring at least 3 years of RN experience, including triage or ICU exposure. No overnight shifts and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in triage with an emergency department, remote nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Conduct thorough and precise nursing triage.
• Act decisively in critical moments and escalate emergencies when needed.
• Put clinical skills to work with hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering.
• Thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing setting and deliver compassionate patient-centered care.
• Help patients reach health goals and provide essential education.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for continuity of care and quality standards.
• Champion workplace health and safety and participate in safety initiatives.
