Job summary

Grand Pacific Health Nowra Urgent Care Clinic is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience in a fast-paced clinic.

This fixed-term, part-time role is 32 hours per week across a set seven-day roster, including weekend and evening shifts, with salary packaging up to $15,900 plus $2,650 meals and entertainment and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or a combination of relevant training and experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills with confidentiality.
• Outstanding communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and deliver exceptional service. Manage enquiries, bookings and appointment scheduling to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate patient records, billing and clinic administration. Support clinicians and keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Uphold quality, safety and privacy standards. Monitor compliance, identify improvement opportunities and help achieve service targets.
