Job summary

FindMeA Pty Ltd is seeking a Parks & Gardens Team Leader for a local government crew in Marsden. You will lead, train and support a hardworking team, planning and overseeing daily works from mowing to landscaping.

Essential experience includes strong horticultural know‑how and prior supervisory work. You’ll operate machinery and power tools, hold a White Card, MR licence preferred, and maintain a safety‑minded, communicative approach. Temp‑to‑perm role; start date 26 November 2026.

Job Description

TEAM LEADER - PARKS & GARDENS Love getting your hands dirty, know your way around a mower, and have what it takes to lead a team? We've got a cracking opportunity for an experienced Parks & Gardens Team Leader to join a local government crew in Marsden!

We're looking for someone with strong horticultural skills, a can-do attitude, and the leadership chops to keep the team moving and the community looking its best. From mowing and landscaping to disaster clean-ups, you'll help keep public spaces safe, tidy and looking fantastic.

$48.03 per hour + super Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm Every second Friday off as an RDO

Temp-to-perm opportunity Local government experience Start date: 26 November 2026

What will you be getting stuck into? Leading, training and supporting a hardworking parks and gardens crew. Planning, coordinating and overseeing daily works.

Mowing, landscaping and general grounds maintenance. Operating plant, machinery, power tools and hand tools. Disaster clean-ups, rubbish collection and making public areas safe.

Actioning customer requests and delivering great customer service. Completing paperwork and basic computer tasks Handling chemicals safely and following workplace safety procedures.

Essential skills and experience: Strong mowing, landscaping and horticultural experience. Previous team leader or supervisory experience.

Experience operating machinery, power tools and equipment. ACDC licence. Chainsaw ticket desired

White Card. A current MR licence is preferred, but if you're willing to obtain one after starting, we'd still love to hear from you! You'll also need good communication skills, a safety-first mindset and the ability to organise a team while getting stuck into the work yourself.
