Job summary

ChoiceOne - Proudly partnering with Local Government is seeking a Horticulturalist (Parks) in the Perth area to maintain parks, gardens and public spaces across multiple locations. This full-time, open-ended role offers a 9-day fortnight, weekly pay, and provides all required equipment.

Ideal candidates will have horticulture/conservation qualifications, MR Licence, spraying or chainsaw certificates, and experience operating ride-on mowers. Police clearance and safety PPE are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Horticulture / Conservation / Arboriculture
• MR Truck Licence or higher
• Spraying certificate or Chainsaw certificate
• Experience operating ride-on mowers
• Appropriate PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, long pants/shirt)
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months) and the ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen

Responsibilities

• Mowing (ride-on and push), edging & hedging
• Pruning, trimming, whipper snipping & blowing
• Litter collection & general maintenance
• Spraying & basic irrigation
• Tree maintenance & natural area care

Pay: $40hr+ Weekly Pay
