We are looking for a motivated and community-focused professionals to help support more than 120 active volunteer groups working across Canberra's Urban Open Space network.
In this rewarding role, within the Urban Parks and Places Volunteer Program, you will work closely with volunteer groups, Place Management operational teams, ACT Government stakeholders and the Ngunnawal people to help plan and deliver a wide range of environmental restoration, conservation and place improvement projects. You will play a key role in ensuring volunteers have a safe, positive and meaningful experience while contributing to the enhancement of Canberra's parks, open spaces and natural environments.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is based in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
