Job summary

City of Whittlesea is seeking a Plant Operator in the Urban Maintenance Team. You will work on asphalt pothole repairs, dip regulations, and footpath trip hazards, contributing to service delivery aligned with industry benchmarks.

This full-time, fixed-term role offers hybrid working options, a comprehensive wellbeing program including activities and gyms, and a collaborative team environment. You will be supported to deliver safe, high-quality municipal upkeep for the community.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and/or several years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet required timeframes.
• Have strong values that align with the organisational values.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of all allocated plant and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• OH&S compliance with Council policies and requirements.
• Assist with urban maintenance activities including asphalt pothole repairs, dip regulations, trip hazards on footpaths and rubbish collection.
