Job summary
CSA Specialised Services is seeking an experienced Underground Service Locator to join a rapidly growing team on civil projects across Australia. You will locate underground utilities, operate GPR and surveying tools, and support high-profile government and Tier 1-3 clients.
We offer above award wages with superannuation and a company vehicle, plus training in the latest industry technology. A White Card, Driver’s Licence, and full Australian working rights are required.
Qualifications
- Experience in Underground Utility Locating
- Dial Before You Dig accreditation desirable
- 2 years’ civil construction experience
- Proficiency with subsurface technologies and surveying equipment
Responsibilities
- Locating underground utilities and marking to AS5488-2013 using spray paints and flags
- Working on high-profile and smaller projects
- Reading utility maps and aerial imagery to identify assets
- Operating Ground Penetrating Radar
- Geospatial surveying and data recording
- Conducting pre-start/daily inspections and keeping records
