Job summary

Jurovich Surveying in Perth, WA is seeking experienced Underground Service Locators and Senior Service Locators to join our team. You will perform underground utility locating using GPR and electromagnetic equipment, conduct GPR scanning, and prepare clear site reports.

You will work with clients on site, mentor junior staff, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and quality on civil, infrastructure and development projects across WA.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in underground utility locating and GPR.
Ability to interpret subsurface data and produce accurate reports.
Experience with vacuum excavation trucks or trailers is preferred.
Willingness to obtain DBYD/Telstra accreditation if not held.

Responsibilities

Underground utility locating using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment.
GPR scanning and interpretation of subsurface data.
Identifying, marking and recording underground services.
DBYD and accredited utility locating activities.
Vacuum excavation and non-destructive digging when required.
Preparing site reports and service drawings for clients and teams.
On‑site collaboration with clients and project teams.
Maintaining locating equipment and prioritising safety and quality.
Mentoring less experienced team members where appropriate.
